As Christians across the globe mark the 2025 Easter celebration, the Member representing Idah Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. David Idris Zacharias, has extended warm Easter greetings to Christians within his constituency and across Nigeria.
In a goodwill message personally signed and released to the media, Hon. Zacharias, who also chairs the House Committee on Safety Standards and Regulations, described Easter as a solemn and joyful occasion that symbolizes the power of sacrifice, the triumph of hope, and the boundless love of God.
“Easter is a significant moment in the Christian faith—one that renews our faith and strengthens our resolve to lead lives of compassion, unity, and service,” he said.
While appreciating God’s mercies over the lives of his constituents, Hon. Zacharias prayed that the season would fill their homes and hearts with peace, love, and divine blessings.
To his constituents, he expressed deep gratitude for their unflinching support, trust, and prayers. He acknowledged their courage and resilience, stating that their belief in the democratic process fuels his unwavering dedication to their welfare.
“I reaffirm my unalloyed commitment to your welfare, the empowerment of our youth and women, and the development of critical infrastructure across our communities,” he pledged.
Hon. Zacharias also called on Nigerians to use the season to reflect, forgive, and strengthen the bonds that unite the nation.
“May our shared aspirations for peace, progress, and prosperity find expression in our words, actions, and choices,” he added.
He concluded by wishing all Christians a joyful, safe, and hitch-free Easter celebration.
