Respected out door Business Magnate, community leader and philanthropist, Chief Idoko Kingsley Ilonah, has extended warm Easter greetings to the people of Kogi State (Kogites) and all Nigerians, calling on the faithful to embrace the values exemplified by Jesus Christ in his life, death, and resurrection. In a message released to commemorate the Easter season, Chief Ilonah urged citizens to use the occasion to reflect on the principles of love, sacrifice, forgiveness, and hope which are at the core of the Christian faith.
He described Easter as a season of renewal, victory over despair, and a powerful reminder of God’s redemptive grace. “The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of our faith and the embodiment of divine love and selflessness,” Chief Ilonah stated. “As we celebrate this sacred moment, let us be reminded of the virtues Christ stood for—peace, humility, compassion, and endurance.”
Chief Ilonah, who is known for his grassroots engagement and deep concern for the development and unity of Kogi State, urged citizens to rededicate themselves to the service of humanity and nation-building. He noted that Nigeria, and indeed Kogi State, would be a better place if everyone acted in the spirit of Easter by showing love to one another, forgiving past wrongs, and committing to the common good.
