The House Chairman Committee on Safety Standards and Regulations, Rt. Hon. David Idris Zacharias, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim Ummah in Idah Federal Constituency on the successful completion of the 2025 Ramadan fast and the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr.
In a message released through his media office, Hon. Zacharias commended the Muslim faithful for their dedication and devotion throughout the holy month of Ramadan. He reminded them that the teachings of the Qur’an and Hadith, which emphasize peace, love, discipline, and humility, should be upheld beyond the Ramadan period as lifelong principles.
While expressing gratitude to Allah for the opportunity to witness another Eid, he highlighted the essence of the celebration—love, charity to the less privileged, and peaceful coexistence with people of all faiths.
Hon. Zacharias also urged the Muslim community to use this period to pray for lasting peace in Nigeria, particularly in Idah Federal Constituency and Kogi State. He called on leaders at all levels to remain committed to selfless service for the betterment of humanity.
He wished all Muslim faithful a joyous and peaceful Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
